Oooh, we found some really interesting stuff when I was cleaning. First, a mini black and yellow scarf (for some doll probably) that I think is a Hufflepuff scarf<3. Also, one of those lap-desk things, which is a hard bit of wood to write on with a beany-bag thing attached so you put it on your knee. ANYWAY, I got this many, many years ago. A friend gave it to me. The picture is of three cats. Two ginger ones and one black and white one. They’re all on a wall, the black and white one is trying to catch some sort of bug, one ginger one is lying down and the other is just sitting proudly. They are EXACTLY like my cats. I used to have a black and white one (RIP Josie<3) who was a bug maniac. Then my current two, both ginger, one is a lazy attention seeking but soooo lovely cat who would be the lying down one. The last is a bold and stupid cat who sits on the top of gate posts (gates which have ‘BEWARE STRANGE DOG’ written on them, I kid you not, though we’ve never seen any dogs there) in that exact position. Considering I got this before I had any of the cats, I think it’s like…woahh. Fate. Mb.

Like also, I want too sort out my iTunes. I need to delete a lot of stuff I never listen to, add my newest CD (HBP soundtrack) and “legally” download some more music. Plus add in lyrics and translations for my French and Japanese music.
However, my brother is monopolising the computer >.< so I can’t get on. I have a laptop, but my stuff is all on the computer still (haven’t transferred over all my stuff, even though it’s been two months.
My brother said I can go on before 9pm. Oh joy. It’s now 2pm. Stupid boy.
And when I do get on, I’ll be downloading stuff and he’ll complain that I’m making his xbox lag. Tough.

Next. HOLIDAY. Yay! I’m going on Saturday. Have to wake up early! *tear* Weather looks to be sunny (no rain for you speedy ) which is good, though not as warm as where I am. I guess you don’t go up north and expect to have sun. I think the holiday shall be good though. Unusually, my mum has planned NOTHING. Lol. We’ll just go to various places.
I’m going to see two or three HP locations!!! I should do. We’re staying near Alnwick, so can see the castle (used for Quidditch & grounds shots). We go through Durham on the way up so we might stop and look at the Cathedral. There’s also some station (can’t remember the name of it) which is used for Hogsmeade station. Yay! The only locations I’ve seen so far are the muggle ones. Platform 9 3/4 (the muggle side, in King’s Cross) and the old Privet Drive (the people took advantage and asked for too much money so now they’ve built a set which they use instead).
Alsoo, another awesome thing about my holiday…Monday, 1.30pm at ********* Station .

Next…I’m bored. Lol. Am eating lunch as I’m writing this. I really can’t be bothered with admin work at the moment. I really should put my car boot sale stuff into different boxes as the one I have now is on a major overflow. (Idk if they have car boot sales over in N. America buut basically it’s a massive sale where everyone goes to the place with junk in your car then put it on a table (which you often bring yourself) and stand there all morning and hope people buy your junk. Yes, it is practically a junk sale. I never buy anything. Actually I did once. Some friends videos. But yeah. It’s almost all junk.) I also need to walk down to the newsagents and top up my mobile…or “cell phone”.

I think that’s all. No more blogs for another week. Not like anyone reads these anyway, but whatever xD.

PART ONE, ‘MY’ RPG FORUM
Well, it’s not technically mine, I’m an admin, but it’s easier to say ‘my forum’ than ‘the forum that I am an admin on’ or whatever.
So, yeah. I admin this forum. I’m not Head Admin. Head Admin is having internet problems in his new house though, so I’m temp. Head Admin. So, let me see, how many things can go wrong when I’m Head Admin? Or at least, cause me lots of work?
First, there’s loooaaaddss of new members. Why? Because I’ve been advertising. The catch? Oh yeah, millions of questions, I’ve got to try and post lots with all the new members, accept all the applications, claims and all that.
Then as it’s Hogwarts, term is starting soon. I’ve got to organise dates, etc. Make sure all teaching & student positions are filled by ACTIVE people. Chase up inactive members and all that.
So, that was fairly expected. Though I didn’t expect so many new members, but that’s good really, so not complaining.
Secondly, spammers. Yay! Not. We have a chatbox on the site, which I had to make members-only for a week due to spammers. Seriously. It’s so damn annoying. Have they got nothing better to do than promote their website and annoy ours? It won’t get them any members. *headdesk*
Next, downtime! Last night/morning, forum down from 3.30am my time. GMT. I find out just after. Am up until 6am trying to get it sorted. No admins/mods from my host are on. No members can help me. I just set up a temporary site with Piczo with all the info I have and I add our site’s chatbox to it and put up a place members can leave questions. Pass the link around msn.
I get up at 1pm today. I check. Site is partially back. Meaning the skin/theme/colours/etc. are there with the banner and the sidebar is, but the actual forum content appears as ‘cannot connect’ or some such error message.
Nobody else has replied on the support forum. It goes miraculously within half an hour, thank God. Downtime isn’t fun. Especially with no idea WHY it’s down. I still have no idea. Only suggestion is some temp. database problem but no other sites were down. *sigh*
Members pestering me on MSN and Skype didn’t help. I was tired, not thinking and in a bad mood. *mental note not to pester admins about when a forum is down*

PART TWO, TIRED
I got no sleep last night. I went to bed at 6am. Couldn’t sleep. Sooo I finished re-reading DH. Almost cried, as usual. So that was until 10am. I heard my family getting up, lol. I then decided to sleep for a few hours. Woke up at 1am. Three hours of sleep is SO not healthy. I’ve been almost falling asleeeeeep all day. *sigh*
Also, dad heard me go to bed at 6am. I did say that the forum I admin was down and I was trying to fix it. He was less annoyed. He’s not punishing me or anything or even telling me off badly. Just acting all…disappointed? Mentioning it has to stop, etc. etc. I’m surprised though. Confused. Lol.

PART THREE, FELIX FELICIS
I want the forums!! Won’t pester admins, as I know how annoying it is. If they come back up when I’m away…at least they’ll be up. Still, would be typical. Lol.

PART FOUR, MY BEDROOM
Will do a full picture blog when it’s done. It’s all painted & carpet is cleaned (it was disgusting before, mb.). New desk is in. We’re still building the drawer thingy that goes with it though. My bed is in. We have chosen fabric for blinds at least (getting those roman blinds avec fabric on them).
Will go finish building the drawers (on my own now *tear*) in a minute. If I can be bothered. Lol.
My room is clean! I need to sort out ALL of my stuff though. I have done two boxes today (though they were mainly books, dolls & teddies. Did some other random containers as well. I have my bedside table to sort through (draw & open cupboard thingy), the top of a chest of drawers in the spare bedroom (where we dumped a load of stuff), my bookshelf and my old desk drawers. Not fun.

PART FIVE, SHOPPING
I went shopping today. Not good to shop when you’re tired.
However, it was one of the most, if not the most, successful shopping trip EVER. I only was gone (so this is including travelling) three hours.
Now, I’m hard to get a lot of clothes for. Me & my mum can’t find many jeans that fit us. Weird back shape thingy, they’re almost always too loose around the waist. We can look at a pair of jeans on a hanger and say if they will or won’t fit luckily though.
But I found a pair! Were quite expensive (from gap) but are nice. Skinny/flared.
I also found two tops and a fleece in Next! The tops and fleece altogether costeed around 2/3 as much as the jeans did XD. Ahh well, mum paid for them…
I also managed to get some black converse shoes! I can’t often find shoes that fit me (have very narrow feet) but converse aren’t as bad as usual. They weren’t too expensive either. Less than the jeans XD.
We also stopped into HMV (sells mainly DVDs, CDs, etc. but also has posters). I made my mum, I wanted to look at posters. They finally have decent HBP posters! Last time they only had the one close-up of Harry with Gambon reflected in his glasses.
They had five different ones! Five! One with Harry and Ron, Hermion and HIM in the background. One was horizonatal and was of Harry on the left, Draco(<3TomFelton) on the right and some awesome colours & such. One was a white one with a black dark mark across it and Dark Arts stuff. No photos but really different to the other posters. In a good way. One was the usual Harry standing and posing in front of that HBP background. Same one with Hermione. I couldn’t decide! Then I saw it was 3 for £10 so I got the first three xD.
I now have twelve posters, six of which are Harry Potter (four are half blood prince, two are order of the phoenix). I also have two of those gift certificate things. Sorcerer’s Stone and Goblet of Fire. Sadly it is Sorcerer’s as my Aunt got them for me and she livs in Canada (Ottawa<3) and there’s lots of American spelt stuff over there.
Back on HMV, I also bought the HBP soundtrack as it was only £10, which is what it is online usually plus I don’t have to wait for delivery that way. Spent £20 in HMV…xD.

Oh! Look at that! Run out of parts! More next time

The reason I spent six hours today, is because tomorrow morning our second chimney (we have the first one for the fireplace, which is staying, and one for the old boiler, which we don’t have anymore) which is being knocked through. At eight a clock, knowing builders. Anyway, it goes up through the kitchen, my room and the attic/loft/thingy. Soo my room will become slightly bigger (will gain around 50x40cm squared, lol).
The good thing is, it will get repainted though. Yay! And I’m getting some new furniture. This is the last big clear out. I have lots of stuff to sell at car boot sales and anything I can’t sell will go to charity.
Anyway, I’m just glad it’s over.

OMS one of my friends who I was seeing it with (the first time, when I booked in advance) cancelled, saying she was ill. Saw her later that day (on the way to my second showing) walking across town, apparently meeting up with some guy. I’m still charging her for that ticket and am annoyed. Majorly.

Vodafone website is evil. Seriously, I want to know how much it is to text my friends, with UK mobiles, when they’re on holiday. I’m just going to have to text and find out. Plus I want to know if they count as free texts. *sigh*
Also, if you’re lowering the normal text rate, lowering the one to Canada might be nice too. Please?

Errr, what else. All you guys are in a different timezone to me, which sucks. It really does. Well everyone except like four of you. Yeah, Gez, Davey, MissBlu & Speedy are in my timezone. Gez doesn’t have msn. Davey is having the op, I think. Speedy is on holiday (well as of tomorrow). MissBlu I think I lost her email. SPAZ. Actually Ingeborg is on my timezone-ish, but she’s not on much. SPAZ. Timezones are evil.

Went on Linux again earlier. Love it, mb. Endless entertainment <3 (LESS THAN THREE LIKE ME!!!). Not less than four. <4. Lol. Spaz.

On the job front…still non-existant. Of course. That would just be too easy to get a job. Why should I get money easily? I need to struggle to get everything, of course.
I want to drive, but can’t afford insurance. Parents will pay for driving lessons, thank Merlin. Am trying to get a car for joint birthday & christmas present, with most family members and family friends included, having no party, having not had an expensive one for the past two years either. Still probably won’t get one, but may get a decent amount of money towards it.

Am going away in a few weeks. Yay! A week without HPFZ. Thoooouuugh maybe not totally without it . Aha, like three people will get that. Yeah, I’m terrible with in-jokes, well, not exactly a joke in this case but you get my drift. Lol. And no, I’m not taking my laptop with me .

Onto, well, something or other. I am temporarily Head Admin of my forum for half a month, then not for the other half, then for another month. POWEEERRRR!! I mean, ahem, I will work lots… And I’m helping setting up a new RP. Well it’s already set up but yeah. I’m addicted to roleplaying, mb.

I’m going to rant about SMF. Which is a forum software. It’s free, but you download it and host it onto a web server of your choice (providing php and MySQL are enabled). It just isn’t working how it should do. I upload it and it won’t let me install it. *sigh* I really want to try it as it has some GAMAZING features which I want to try out. Like account linking and profile fields which can be used instead of apps. Anyway I won’t bore you with that but ARGH. It might just be my host. But I’ve tried on two hosts now! And used two different installation versions! On both! *headdesk*

Errr what else…I haven’t been on here much. *cries* Hannah’s email reminded me though. I forwarded it to half of you on here probably, lol. I sent it to pretty much every HPFZ email I had which hadn’t already received it. Which turned out to be many. I have like 60 HPFZ emails on my funkiki account but idk who most of them are anymore, I only used the ones I at least vaguely remembered. Anywho. Yeah.

Hollie Steele – a ten year old, an AMAZING like high voice, can’t think of the world at the moment. AMAZING, waaay better than on TV. She can sing so high it’s like..woaahhh. And it’s soooo nice.

Shaun Smith – 18(?) year old singer. Love his voice. And his looks .
Julian Smith – Saxaphone Player, OMS wow spazz-worthy. Came third.
Flawless – Dance troup. Litrally flawless. Street dancing.
Diversity – Dance troup. Good AND mega creative!! Never seen such creative dancing. Street dance, but are so much more than that!! WINNERS!!

Aiden Davis – Dancer. Ten/twelve, can’t remember. YOUNG. Street dance. Self-taught. Unbelievable.
2 Grand – Grandfather and granddaughter singing. Not my thing, but everyone loved them. The grandfather sounds like he WAS an amazing singer, girl is good in the smallest range imaginable.
DJ Talent – OMS!! Basically a rapper kinda thing. “I say Britain, we say, you say TALENT, Britain’s Got Talent, it’s the DJ TALENT!”, the audience say ‘TALENT’. Wasn’t a finalist though.
Darth Jackson – OMS!! A man dressed as Darth Vader, dancing !! Not a finalist but sooo funny!!
George Sampson – Fourteen, street dance, last years winner. Amazing.

So that’s the breif description. Oh, of the individual acts!!
Flawless and George Sampson did one together which was awesome.
Darth Jackson was backed up by Flawless and Stavros Flatley who were in weird space kinda suits. Then Stavros Flatley started the Greek kinda dancing they do at the end and feign and arguement. LOL worthy.
Hollie Steele and 2 Grand did a song together. Luckily Hollie drowned out the granddaughter’s voice xD.
The four youngest guys, two from Diversity, Aiden and Shaheen. They were all dancing, though Shaheen was singing mainly and doing a TINY bit of dancing. Four Tops xD.
Julian Smith and Shaun Smith did a duo act, Julian playing whilst Shaun sang. The Smiths xD.

Yeah, it was amazing. Hollie sung so HIGH it was like woaahh. My camera ran out of battery, my phone ran out of memory!! Still, the experience was GAMAZING, MB!!! I loved it.

See, I’m capable of doing happy blog posts too!!
I’m so hyper, it’s gone 3am, I’m not tired and I have to get up in seven hours. Ahh, bliss.
